Alexis Arquette | Transgender actress, 47

Radar Online has reported to have recently spoken with longtime friend and ex Robert Dupont and the interview has appeared to clear up a lot of unanswered questions that have been burning through the minds of many following Arquette’s death announcement yesterday.

Alexis, who died Sunday at 47 after a long illness, had been approached several times to write a tell-all book, and was considering the most recent offers.

“We are all heartbroken that she is no longer with us, but we are grateful for the grace and kindness we were all shown during this hard time”, Patricia’s statement read. “We will love and miss you forever”, she wrote. “We know we were the lucky ones”.

Arquette was best known for her appearances in films like Pulp Fiction, Bride of Chucky and Adam Sandler comedy The Wedding Singer.

While Sherlock star Gatiss wrote, “I remember falling for Alexis Arquette (and Craig Chester) in a lovely and now sadly appropriately titled little film called Grief”.

An activist for transgender rights, Alexis made headlines in January with a Facebook post (deleted afterward) blasting Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, the day after Jada announced that she was boycotting the Oscars.

“The statement continued, “[Alexis’] career was cut short, not by her passing, but by her decision to live her truth and her life as a transgender woman.

Alexis Arquette was born Robert and was the sister of Patricia, David, Rosanna and Richmond.

David Arquette also shared a sweet tweet about his sister’s death, pronouncing her his “hero”.
