Alfonso Ribeiro to host ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in Tom Bergeron’s absence

Tom Bergeron does such a smooth job hosting “Dancing With the Stars” each week, he makes it look like anyone can do it easily. Host Tom Bergeron just announced on Twitter that his father is sick and he’ll be skipping the October 5 show, to stay at his bedside.

In the wake of that win, Ribeiro hosted the national tour of “DWTS Live”.

The famous chef continued to forget her steps and awkwardly interrupted the judges during their comments.

According to PEOPLE, Alfonso Ribeiro will act as co-host on Monday alongside Erin Andrews.

Busey, whose last dance on the show was in homage to his Oscar-nominated role in The Buddy Holly Story, was disappointed with the elimination but insisted his spirit in the show would carry on.

So who was eliminated tonight? Logic would say that Gary Busey and his partner Anna Trebunskaya will go home as they had the lowest score; but this is DWTS and it has nothing to do with logic or the dancers.

Who’s gone: Busey joins the departed “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Kim Zolciak Biermann, Triple Crown-winning jockey Victor Espinoza and singer Chaka Khan.
