Ali hits out at Trump over Muslim ban remarks
As we reported Wednesday, in the wake of Trump’s remarks, his previously scheduled meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, on December 28 drew widespread criticism.

“I have chose to postpone my trip to Israel and to schedule my meeting with @Netanyahu at a later date after I become President of the US”, Trump said in a tweet. “And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for both of them”, Cruz added about Trump and Carson.
Trump has been widely condemned for his recent anti-Muslim rhetoric with many expressing that the figure had “gone too far”.
“The State of Israel respects all religions and strictly guarantees the rights of all its citizens”, he said. They called on the Prime Minister to cancel his meeting with the billionaire businessman.
On Wednesday, Netanyahu rebuked Trump for his suggestion that the United States should place a temporary ban on Muslim entrants to the country. Netanyahu had rejected Trump’s proposal on Muslims but said he would still meet with him. “At the same time, Israel is fighting against militant Islam that targets Muslims, Christians and Jews alike and threatens the entire world”.
He said: “We as Muslims have to stand up to those who use Islam to advance their own personal agenda”.
U.S. presidential candidates often visit Israel while campaigning as part of efforts to shore up their foreign policy credentials. He also said, “I’m a negotiator, like you folks”. The United States, like most of the global community, refuses to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and says the city’s status must be resolved in negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. Clinton also discussed the hot-button gun control issue, and, regardless of how you feel about President Clinton 2.0, she makes some moderate, level-headed points-mainly that no one wants to take anyone’s existing guns away, we just want to avoid new guns from getting into the wrong hands.
