Alicia Keys Helps Tamron Hall Remove Her Makeup on ‘Today’
“Look how handsome you are”, she later commented as she gently helped Hall, 45, remove her makeup. On the other hand, VMAs victor Alicia Keys is selling the bare face look, and her “no-makeup movement is gaining momentum”.

“You don’t have to be what people tell you”, Keys said to anchors Tamron Hall, Billy Bush and Al Roker.
The former reality TV show star-turned-designer is not against makeup if it makes people feel good, but she insists cosmetics never serve her.
Other stars already on board with the #nomakeup trend include Cindy Crawford, who posted a makeup free selfie on her 50th birthday in February (16), Salma Hayek, and Lady Gaga.
Keys, who married Swizz Beatz in July 2010, then helped Hall take the last of her foundation and mascara off with a wipe while telling her, “You look lovely”. “But you’re mad because that person didn’t put makeup to please you? It’s not for me, it’s for you!”
“I know I don’t have to”, Hall said. “I think we put limitations on each other. Over it, to be honest”.
“That’s probably the one rule that I do”, she adds, while chatting off-screen. “So I wouldn’t say that I am against it because I know people that really get joy and feel the most like themselves when they put on makeup”.
Keys obviously inspired the Today Show hosts since they were ready with “a packet of makeup wipes ready in order to join her fresh-faced movement”.

Alicia assured the others that “she isn’t totally against makeup”, but she’s against feeling “forced to wear it”. During her Friday morning appearance on Today she took the time to explain that she’s just being herself. Actually, she’s a woman with several.
