In an interview with British GQ, Harris said they were very careful with their relationship not to be a media circus.

“It clearly wasn’t right, so it ended, but all the stuff that happened afterwards”.

“It’s very hard when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly”. The DJ admitted he is not good at being a celebrity and Swift respected his feelings.

Swift and Tom Hiddleston reportedly broke up recently.

Us Weekly was first to report that Swift and Hiddleston had split after flaunting their love all over the globe earlier this year, claiming that it was Tom’s desire to be so public with their romance that turned Taylor off.

Calvin appeared to reference the split in his acceptance speech where he conceded to going through “a lot” this year. “Man, we spent a lot of times on rocks”.

Remembering where he started, he continued: “I feel at 32 I’m nearing the end”.

At the time of the Met Gala, Swift was still dating ex Calvin Harris; PEOPLE exclusively broke the news of Swift and Harris’ split on June 1, and multiple sources told PEOPLE there was no cheating involved.

“What ensued was three months of the new couple lauding their romance around, being pictured together frequently and meeting each others” parents in their respective home countries.

The Daily Mail said Hiddleston, 35, had been in trouble with Swift, 26, because he asked her to attend the Emmy Awards with him on Sept 18 and she felt uncomfortable with his desire to make the relationship even more public.

In a series of tweets, Harris said “And she sings on a little bit of it too”. “Her fame is part of what made her so attractive to him”.

A source close to the couple informed the news publication, “She was the one to put the brakes on the relationship”.
