Users of the iPhone and iPad in the United Kingdom with a compatible device – iPhone 5 and newer, or iPad mini 2 and newer – are eligible for the update.

By comparison, iOS 9 was installed on 12.6 percent of iOS devices in 24 hours when it launched in 2015. However, iOS 7, which introduced a drastic redesign, may still boast the best early adoption numbers.
According to Mixpanel though, iOS 10’s adoption is increasing at a rate of approximately 4.41 per cent per hour and they predict it will reach 50 per cent mark in the next 11 days. A new app, dubbed Breathe, has been added to the new OS, helping users to schedule and perform deep-breathing exercises.
