All the New Features Coming In Android N
In a blog post, Google’s VP of engineering Dave Burke made this announcement saying, “Today we’re happy to announce a Developer Preview of the N release of Android!”. Users of the Android N can now reply to the notifications directly without leaving the notifications bar drop-down.

There’s no doubt more to come from the as-yet-unnamed Android N, but it already offers improvements to notification handling and battery life, as well as a new multi-window mode for running apps side by side. You should be able to power through your notifications like never before.
The weak numbers for Marshmallow is largely due to the nature of the Android rollout – OEMs like Samsung, Huawei and HTC have to tweak and test the OS for every device they make the update available to which is terribly time consuming. If you own a Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Nexus 9, or Pixel C device, you can opt in to this program and download Android N later today. This year, Google is kind of breaking tradition as the company is offering a preview of the latest Android N right now. So yeah, either that’s a major troll job or we’re looking at Android Nutella. The feature is enabled on phones and tablets, and the images show a black bar dividing the two apps, suggesting that you’ll be able to resize the windows. In addition, activities can also go into picture-in-picture mode on devices like TVs, and is a great feature for apps that play video; be sure to set android:supportsPictureInPicture to true to take advantage of this. In the meantime, Google will push out updates of this Android N Developer Preview to squash bugs, improve its new features, and get feedback ahead of the public release. The other noteworthy feature involves notifications – new tools for apps to bundle notifications on the home screen and let users reply through them.
As for what the “N” in Android N means, Google is still officially silent on that front.
Thank you for reading and relying on TulsaWorld.com for your news and information. No more waiting until Google and your device manufacturer decide to bring you the update! If you don’t have a spare, you really should not install it. As good as it is, it is still a preview, and it should not be something you use every day.

Users will simpy have to sign up for the preview by going to the Android Developers site. While many jumped at the chance for an array of reasons, myself included, there are also some reasons to avoid the new Android N beta program.
