All-time record transfer fee for Paul Pogba

France midfielder Paul Pogba arrived in Manchester on Monday to complete his record-breaking transfer to Manchester United from Juventus, British media reported.

He has made 178 appearances for Juventus, scoring 34 goals, and helped the club reach the 2015 Champions League final.

“I think United is the ideal club to bring him to the level that he wants to be”.

Reigning Premier League champions Leicester equalised through Jamie Vardy as he capitalised on a soft Marouane Fellaini back-pass but it was left to Ibrahimovic to mark his first appearance with the victor.

“Nothing got past him and I’m really looking forward to seeing the player that he’s going to become”.

“I’m really happy because it’s my first trophy”.

It is expected, if all goes well with the medical, that an official announcement that Pogba is once again a United player will follow on either Tuesday or Wednesday.

“Here he is in the most seen, worldwide, championship which is absolutely incredible, with a team which wants to bring Manchester United to the top again”.

“Finally we have him”.

“Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra among others left, they had big personalities and they were propping the club up in the changing rooms”. If you ask if I think it is a lot of money, I think football is insane, the market has become insane. What you think this season is insane, you realise that three years later it’s not insane any more. And I think there are players that cost ten million that are super expensive because there are players who are four hundred or five hundred thousand or one million.

“It’s important, not just for United, that they sign players of stature and personality”, Neville told Sky Sports.

“I’d have said he (Bailly) was man of the match”.
