Allegiant celebrating nonstop flights from Oklahoma City to Vegas with $49 fares

Low-cost airline Allegiant announced Tuesday that it will launch nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale and San Antonio starting November. 5. Petersburg, all in Florida, and seasonal service to Myrtle Beach, S.C. With Orlando, Allegiant will offer a dozen weekly flights from Pittsburgh in its first year of operations.

“This is great news that Allegiant will be expanding their flight schedule in northeastern Pennsylvania with non-stop service between AVP and Tampa”, said Richard G. Williams, AVP Airport’s board chairman.

The airline announced the new nonstop destination from the Outagamie County Regional Airport to St. Pete-Clearwater worldwide Airport this morning. Fares are one way and not available on all flights.

The Las Vegas-based carrier said it will operate the flights twice a week.

Allegiant is offering an introductory rate of $98 round trip through February 16 for people who book flights by Friday. “We’re confident travelers will take advantage of our latest flights this fall and will appreciate the ability to book their entire vacation through Allegiant”.

According to officials with the company, seats are limited and the price includes taxes and fees.

The service addition in Kansas City marks one of four new cities for the fast-growing Allegient, which is based out of Los Vegas. There’s a charge for using credit cards of up to $8 each way per passenger. Additional restrictions may apply.
