Gabriella Doolin’s mother, Amy Doolin, sobbed and held her hand over her mouth as a judge read the charges against 38-year-old Timothy Madden of Scottsville on Monday.
The judge said he’s due back in court December 2 for a preliminary hearing. His attorney, Travis Lock, said it was too early in the case to discuss any evidence.
Doolin was reported missing at 7:40 p.m. and found dead just 25 minutes later at 8:05 p.m.in a small stream of water nearby.
Doolin’s body was found on the evening of November 14 in a creek near a wooded area behind Allen County-Scottsville High School.
Madden’s court appearance is set for 3:30 p.m. Monday. Madden was there for his son, Doolin was there with her parents to cheer on her brother.

“We know it’s not true, he’s not that kind of person”, said Madden. The autopsy revealed that Gabbi was raped and the cause of death was “manual strangulation and drowning”, according to the police report. I love her with all my heart… please continue to pray for my family…
