After two overtime period, Arkansas quarterback Austin Allen ran into the endzone giving the Hogs a 41-38 win.

After the Razorbacks got even, Turpin returned the kickoff 64 yards, but Arkansas’ Dan Skipper blocked Graf’s 28-yard field goal try with 10 seconds remaining. At this point, you can’t help but wonder just how much this TCU team is going to struggle in 2016.
What did we learn from Saturday night’s game between TCU and Arkansas? The Rebels didn’t appear exhausted, though, scoring on all four of their first-half drives for a 24-3 halftime lead.

Rest assured, while a lot of speed in recent years has moved on, TCU is still plenty fast in its return games (watch receiver Kevontae Turpin, in particular) and will make Arkansas – if it hasn’t cleaned up in this area – pay dearly. He also added 34 rushing yards on 11 carries.
Kenny Hill might be one of the more exciting players in the country, but the fact that he’s so inconsistent might end up hurting the Horned Frogs in the long run – maybe not as much as their defense, though.
Arkansas, meanwhile, was buoyed by Allen and running back Rawleigh Williams III. Hill did not get into rhythm, being swarmed by the Razorbacks defense throughout the first half.
KaVontae Turpin set up both of TCU’s fourth-quarter touchdowns with long catches, including on the go-ahead drive from midfield after he added almost 25 yards on a punt return when he spun out of several tackles while somehow keeping both knees off the ground.

“I’m not ready to put him in the Gator Hall of Fame or the National Football League Hall of Fame, but I think he’s really learning how to play the position and knows what to expect and is starting to feel really comfortable with his pieces around him”, coach Jim McElwain said.
Arkansas was able to strike first, scoring on a three-play, 25-yard touchdown drive to take a seven-point lead. The key factor to notice here is that the Horned Frogs only had two down linemen on the right side, the direction Allen would run toward. After three quarters of mostly mundane football, you gave us 29 fourth-quarter points, two comebacks and then some extra ball as Arkansas somehow won, 41-38.
However, Arkansas sent the game into overtime with a two-point conversion. He has had at least one block in all four seasons at Arkansas. “Of course, because college football is insane and wonderful, the chip shot was blocked by Arkansas’ 6’10” offensive tackle who was put in for the play.

“It’s kind of neat to see Austin and Brooks, two high school captains together at Fayetteville High just having continued success here together”, Bielema said. “I got talked out of it”.
