Already a champion, Draymond Green now an All-Star
Green was recently named an NBA All-Star reserve for the Western Conference, the first time in his still-young career he has received this honor; and his mom chose to break the news to him during a live interview.

You can watch the full 8 1/2-minute clip at the CSN Bay Area website, which includes an all-time line from Mama Green. Green couldn’t see her, however, and was clearly baffled when his mother started speaking to him.
Green said he had to fight back tears, but it might have been toughest on Babers-Green, who had to wait a whole week for this.
When she delivered the news, Green cracked up and asked, “How does she know this and I don’t?” ESPN had lined her up to tell her son that he was voted an all-star starter, but he missed out by only about 50,000 votes. “This has been one of his lifelong dreams”.
