Alshon Jeffery and Matt Forte expected not to play
Should Jeremy Langford replace Matt Forte as the Chicago Bears starting running back?

Forte sprained the MCL in his right knee in the team’s Week 8 matchup against the Vikings but went through an extensive pregame warmup before Sunday’s game against the Broncos without any setbacks, the report says.
In addition to the expected deactivation of wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, the Bears will be without running back Matt Forte as well today.
Prior to the game, Forte was on the field testing his knee. Bennett should be a good PPR play, and Jeremy Langford is going to be in the mix for targets as the starter in the backfield.
“The National Football League is what have you done for me lately”, Forte said Thursday.
“Obviously with the situation being I’m in my contract year, last year, it’s obvious that’s the storyline that would come up”.
Although he played in last week’s victory over the Rams, Jeffery was used primarily as a decoy, finishing with just three receptions for 23 yards.
Langford, a rookie out of MI State, put up 324 total yards in the previous two contests.
