Amala Paul and AL Vijay, the much-celebrated star couple is on the verge of divorce.

Amala completed her part in the three movies with support from her husband. AL Alagappan has said that director Vijay seems to be upset with Amala Paul following her decision to continue acting in movie. After hearing this news, Vijay was shocked, Amala is not ready to obey her own parent’s words.
According to some sources close to the couple, Vijay and family are also disappointed with Amala’s ignorance towards the family. She was pained by the treatment meted out to her in her husband’s house and her interests were never cared for, said the friend who knew both families well.
Vijay expected his wife to concentrate on family life rather than acting, but Amala was not ready for that.
Vijay expressed his unwillingness to comment on the issue and said that he did not want to talk on this issue and he would abide by his parent’s decision.
A report which suggests that Amala’s marriage hit rock bottom due to her overfriendliness with a much-married young Tamil actor, has also been doing rounds on the social media since the divorce news came out.

Most of the actresses retire or temporarily quit films after marriage but Amala Paul continued her film career. They met during hte shoot of the Tamil film Deiva Thirumagal (Nanna) and then fell in love and eventually got married.
