Amanda Nunes Continues to Kick Ronda Rousey While She’s Down

Ronda Rousey is unlikely to join the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) after she was knocked out in just 48 seconds by Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 last Friday, per an insider close to the situation.

Not the comeback the once most dominant female fighter was hoping for, to say the least.

Nunes, who specializes in boxing and Brazilin Jiu Jitsu, plans to take a short break but is looking forward to competing for the featherweight belt.

In the end, Rousey, who has been a good draw for the promotion, went out not necessarily on top, but most definitely as a pay-per-view draw.

The Lioness told TMZ in an interview that she was surprised Rousey was able to dominate the women’s bantamweight class for such a long time.

But if Rousey retires from fighting and is looking for a way to make some income, she could do worse than to turn to wrestling. Who wants to see their kid get hit?

“I need to take some time to reflect and think about the future”.

Too add fuel to the fire, Nunes continues to take media shots at Rousey. “That’s it for her”.

“Yes! For sure”, she said. The first girl that could stand up and fight a little [Holm], took her title. “I went in there and hugged her for 45 minutes”, he stated.

As The Rock paced around outside the ring before getting Rousey, the crowd began chanting her name.

Light Heavyweight champion, Rashad Evans (19-5-1), has been pretty quiet recently in the Octagon. “My advice to Ronda would be to pick yourself up and try again”.

While Rousey showed up looking more muscular than her last fight, more trim, in better shape, there was something obviously not right with her.

As it stands, Rousey defended the belt six times before falling to Holm a year ago and Jones believes with the proper adjustments, there’s a chance she could get back there again.

“That day (at UFC 207) was the day I had to prove to everybody and I did it”. “This just set her back a whole lifetime”.

“And I think, personally, maybe she should’ve bounced around”.

Maybe Rousey goes back into the gym and works on her standup. She wanted to stay alive to be with him, to start a family with him, and she started to pick herself back up, but it was not going to be a quick process.
