Green Bay defeated the Raiders (6-8) for the seventh straight time and eliminated Oakland from playoff contention on a rainy day by San Francisco Bay.

Here are the five biggest takeaways from the Packers’ 30-20 win over the Oakland Raiders. Finally, Oakland quarterback Derek Carr does’t receive the recognition he deserves despite having better numbers than Rodgers this season. “It doesn’t work around here I guess”. I know we put up 30 points.
The Raiders struggled to generate much pressure against Rodgers in the loss, with Khalil Mack specifically struggling to keep his footing on the wet grass.
Packers outside linebacker Julius Peppers had 2½ sacks, giving him 135 for his career. Every other team in the league has had at least one 1,000-yard receiver in that span. In all, 201 players had reached the 1,000-yard mark in a season between Raiders to accomplish that feat. Three more yards would have made it even sweeter, but it was a sign the offense could put together a clutch drive in a hard spot.
“Not sure what’s going to happen with the Raiders next year so it could be the last time we play here”, Rodgers said. So it’s not really a big thing. Interception No. 1 against Green Bay, an underthrown force intended for Clive Walford, was returned 34 yards to set up the Packers’ first touchdown. Carr would get the offense going though as it only took four plays for them to drive down the field for Amari Cooper to catch a touchdown from 19 yards out the Raiders only trailed by one at the half as the Packers led 14-13. Green Bay takes a 17-13 lead over Oakland with 10:18 left in the third quarter. “This could be the last time we play here”. We’re not playing like a playoff team, ‘ ” said Menaker. “We got into some things with John Kuhn in there and four receivers, but we were too inconsistent”.
So when Carr threw the second of his two interceptions, it wasn’t as if Del Rio was looking for Matt McGloin to come to the rescue. Carr had been hoping to make a delivery to Seth Roberts, one of his wideouts, who was open.
Carr found Packers cornerback Damarious Randall on his next throw, and the rookie returned it 44 yards for a touchdown.
In Green Bay’s Week 14 win over Dallas, it looked like the Packers were back to running over their opponents on the ground.
The Raiders cut Green Bay’s lead to 14-6 with a pair of Sebastian Janikowski field goals. The former Raider capped it off with a 30 yard touchdown pass to put the Pack back in front 24-20.
NOTES: Raiders starting DE Mario Edwards Jr. left the game with a neck injury early in the first quarter and not return….
McCarthy did that by putting Cobb in the backfield, which meant that if Cobb was moved out to wide receiver, the Raiders would have had to cover one of the receivers with a linebacker or safety. Jayrone Elliott left with a quad injury and David Bakhtiari suffered an ankle injury late and had to be helped to the sideline.
Packers CB Damarious Randall: Top CB Sam Shields (concussion) didn’t practice Wednesday and his status is up in the air since he still has to get through the NFL-mandated concussion protocol before he can be cleared to play.
GB-Randall 43 yard interception return (Crosby kick), 4:53. Cooper’s 41-yard pass ignited an eight-play, 81-yard drive that ended in a 26-yard touchdown pass from Carr to Cooper.
– There were two bad turnovers, with James Starks’ fumble ruining the lone productive possession of the first half and Rodgers’ interception with the Packers in command in the waning moments.

GB-Crosby 33 yard field goal, 4:25. But Green Bay still wants to hold off Minnesota in the division the next two weeks so there’s no celebrating with just a postseason berth. OAK, L.Murray 21-78, D.Carr 4-42.
