Black Friday is on the way, and there’s nothing you can do about it. You can literally do nothing about it, if you like.

Top deals on now include HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset, which is £49.99 instead of £74.99 and a CC Better CS810W Sports Camera, which is £53.99 instead of £72.99.

Of course much of it is being led by Amazon, which is promising 7,000 different deals during the retail bonanza.

The steeper discounts for Black Friday are just another maneuver in the ongoing struggle between companies like Amazon, Apple, Netflix and others to entice customers into their respective walled gardens.

Marks & Spencer are getting in on the Black Friday action again this year.

One major player, Asda, the Walmart-owned and traditional cheerleader of Black Friday has pulled out of the day after a few of the chaotic scenes it witnessed twelve months ago, but the likes of Amazon and Argos are going big already.

Argos has said its Blue, White and Red Fridays will allow shoppers to spread out their shopping and budget over several weeks, and the deals are already underway, with offers on Call of Duty Black Ops 3, an LG 4K Ultra HD Freeview TVs, and offers on Beats Solo 2 On Ear Headphones.

In fact they are expecting such a surge of activity on Black Friday Currys have created a form on their website for customers to register their interest in order to get the latest information on deals as and when they appear.

“Black Friday looks set to be the biggest sales day of the year”. “Over the last two years we’ve developed an organised, well-executed plan, but this year customers have told us loud and clear that they don’t want to be held hostage to a day or two of sales”.

It is not yet known how Asda will take on Black Friday after in-store fights past year but the supermarket is expected to scale back the deals it offers, according to the Telegraph.
