It will be exclusive to Amazon in the United Kingdom, Germany and Austria after Prime Video secured streaming rights from NBCUniversal.
The show now holds a 98% ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, and has been one of the most-buzzed about new series since its debut in June. Variety’s Brian Lowry wrote that season one was “a mind-bending head rush of a ride” and cited Malek’s “breakout performance.” “Prime members are going to love binging on this awesome show”.
“Mr. Robot”, the USA Network thriller about a hacker who gets caught up in a world of cyber security and anarchy, took the summer TV season by storm. He wields his skills as a weapon to protect the people that he cares about.
On Amazon Prime, Mr. Robot will join other USA/UCP series, including Suits and Covert Affairs.
The “Mr. Robot” pact will make the show “even more accessible to audiences”, according to Frances Manfredi, president of NBCUniversal Television and New Media Distribution.
