What’s more is that Amazon Prime Day 2016 is looking like it will resolve numerous issues that customers had with last year’s deals.
This year, Amazon will try to extend the success of Prime Day by offering “countdown” deals for Prime members every day from July 5 through July 11 in the run up to Amazon Prime Day 2016, which will offer “blockbuster” deals on Tuesday, July 12th.
This year’s Prime Day is expected to be even bigger than last year’s.
ShippingPass costs half as much as Amazon Prime, making it a compelling offer for anyone who mostly uses the service to order products online.
In its latest attempt to square off with Amazon, Walmart is expanding ShippingPass, its unlimited two-day shipping program, and offering a free 30-day trial to all USA customers. What did you think of the deals offered previous year?
First, not all items at Walmart are available for ShippingPass’s two-day shipping.
With Amazon Prime, though, you also get to share your account with family members.
Amazon organized the first Prime Day to commemorate its 20th anniversary.
Last year, the retail giant was condemned for the hard time buyers faced getting the best Prime Day deals.
Amazon Prime members interested in a bargain should hit the site on July 12 as the company is promising more than 100,000 deals across most of its departments.
While Amazon doesn’t release figures on Prime memberships, CIRP estimates that about one in five adult Americans has an Amazon Prime membership at the end of 2015, about 54 million Prime members in the United States. However, Amazon’s $99 per year two-day free shipping service gives you access to a bunch of other services including music and video streaming, cloud storage, and more. It is also offering a free 30-day trial on its two-day unlimited shipping service, and an extra month free for paying members.
“Prime Day is a unique opportunity to discover new items and great deals, on top of our already low prices”.
