Amazon reveals new Echo Dot with Alexa for only $50
Interestingly, Amazon didn’t stop with the announcements there and also launched a new version of Echo Dot, shaped like a hockey puck like its predecessor, at just $49.99 (roughly Rs. 3,350). For those wondering about the newer model, wonder no more as Amazon has officially taken the wraps off it. At this price, Amazon is pushing consumers to order several Dots, and it’s even offering multi-packs that’ll get you one Echo Dot for free when you buy five or two free Dots when you buy 10.

It’s a super cheesy ad but you get the idea, and the ecosystem for the apps it can access and the “skills” the Echo can acquire continues to grow.
After what feels like one of the longest release delays in history, the Amazon Echo is finally coming to the United Kingdom – some two years after the device was launched in the US.
If you reside in the states, you may be familiar with Amazon’s Alexa and its connected gadgets.
A new version of the Alexa-powered device has been detailed.
Amazon also recently said it will start selling its larger Echo speaker and the Echo Dot in the United Kingdom and Germany. Directly connect Echo Dot to speakers with an audio cable or via Bluetooth, and add voice-control to your home stereo system. Amazon has also introduced Echo Spatial Perception (ESP), which will ensure users with multiple Echo Dot devices will be served by the one closest to them.
Amazon said it aims to break even on sales of Echos, making money instead on goods and services bought through the device, such as music and groceries.
Amazon first launched its Echo speaker in November 2014, and it has quickly become a dominant force in the personal digital assistant market.
