“I’m so thrilled to be a part of ‘Style Code Live.’ Live TV is my greatest passion, and to be able to work on such an original and interactive show really is a dream come true”, Rodrigues said.

“Our customers love fashion, and have wanted a place to keep up with new trends and get expert tips”.

It will also have live chats on the side, allowing the viewers to interact with its celebrity hosts, Lyndsey Rodrigues, Rachel Smith, and Frankie Grande. People watching “Style Code Live” on will see a carousel of products beneath the live video player, updating dynamically to point them to products on Amazon as they’re discussed during each episode. They will style and model on-trend looks such as print mixing, debate style do’s-and-don’ts, and share beauty hacks like how to use a bold red lipstick as concealer.

GeekWire first reported in October that Amazon planned to launch its own online shopping shows starting this year, offering a digital alternative to the likes of QVC and the Home Shopping Network.

Hosts will chime into to respond to viewer comments and questions in the live chat, giving the show more of a community feel. Other guests scheduled for the show include Grammy victor Meghan Trainor, actress Keri Russell and YouTube star Tati Westbrook. Amazon bought the live video-game-streaming site Twitch for about $1 billion in 2014, so it’s not too surprising that the company wants to build up its video streaming service.
