Amazon unveils bargain-bin $50 Fire tablet
We say this because details were already leaked of a new 6-inch model from the online retailer, and could come with a price tag below $50, and if this is the case, then maybe its larger sibling might only cost $70 or $80?

Powered by Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, which according to Amazon has 2x more processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.
Amazon also throws in a 2MP main camera, plus a VGA front-facing one.
Amazon has pumped out its latest attempt to stake a claim in the luggable electronics market with a $50 tablet.
In fact, Amazon is so convinced of this low-priced Fire tablet’s role as a utility that it’s offering it in a six-pack.
“Today, we’re taking another step in our mission to deliver premium products at non-premium prices”, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos proclaimed.
The new tablet will also feature a quad-core processor, front and rear facing cameras and up to 128GB of expandable storage. The new Android-based devices were launched alongside a new Amazon Fire TV family and will feature a revamped user interface, dubbed Fire OS 5 “Bellini”…
As well as launching an all-new budget tablet, Amazon updated its 8-inch and 10-inch Fire Tablet range as well as updating its Fire Kids Edition tablet. Amazon is even offering a promotional package called the six-pack – if you buy five Fire tablets, you get one for free.
You can purchase your own Fire tablet now for £50.
You can get a look at more of the features here.
The Fire HD 8 is available to pre-order from $149 in both 8GB and 16GB storage options with a choice of four colors: black, orange, blue and pink. As with the Fire HD tablets, the Fire comes with sponsored screensavers that can be disable for $15.
The Fire begins shipping on September 30.
