Our Syracuse affiliate reports the girl is still missing, and the Baldwinsville Police Department is searching the Seneca River.
Almost 24 hours after issuing an Amber Alert, Syracuse Police detectives have nothing substantial in the search for a missing child.
Maddox, 21 months old, was not with Ryan Lawrence when he was taken into custody. It’s anticipated the search for Maddox Lawrence is really going to intensify Tuesday morning.
A relative of Maddox’s mother said that they have received no new information since last night.
Police arrested Ryan Lawrence on Monday night in Baldwinsville. Maddox is approximately two feet tall, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with a pink collar, pink trousers and a blue coat.
Federal Bureau of Investigation agents, Syracuse police officers and a crime scene unit are walking on the trail between Hiawatha Boulevard and the Bear Street bridge, focusing on the banks of Onondaga Creek.
According to the New York State Amber Alert, the suspect has a history of mental health issues and is emotionally unstable.
