Amber Alert issued for 9-month-old New Jersey boy; police say dad abducted
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Police are asking for the public’s help to find a 9-month-old boy abducted allegedly by his father in New Jersey, authorities said.

William Merino, a 24- to 30-inch Hispanic child who weighs between 20 and 22 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair, police said.
William Merino, 26, was charged with kidnapping, terroristic threats, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of a weapon for an unlawful objective after the incident Monday, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey and New Brunswick Police Director Anthony Caputo.
They say the boy was last seen wearing a yellow tee shirt, khaki trousers and black sneakers. He left 12 S. Talmadge St. on foot. His father is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and about 180 pounds.
