Alayna Jeanne Ertl is believed to have been abducted by family friend 26-year-old Zachary Todd Anderson.
He is possibly driving a 2002 white GMC Sierra, registered as stolen, with license plate 107 KMT.
Anderson is described as white, with dark hair and a shaggy short beard. He might be wearing a black T-shirt saying Riverside Softball. Alayna’s father used the pickup truck for work.
We spoke with a board member at Wilderness Park Estates, a residential community located in Meadow Brook Township in Cass County, who says she heard helicopters overhead. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said Ertl’s father’s cell phone was in the stolen truck and was last tracked to Todd County at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Anderson was staying overnight at Ertl’s house. She was last seen in the city of Watkins this morning at 2 a.m.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ertl or Anderson should call the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office at 320-693-5400 or dial 911 immediately.
