AMBER ALERT issued for teenage girl from Wilkes Barre
An Amber Alert has been issued after police say a 16 year old girl was abducted from her Wilkes Barre home at gunpoint. Police said Lewis walked away with Patterson, discharging his gun to prevent anyone from following them.

Wilkes-Barre police said the Jenea Patterson’s mother reported that Walter Lewis, 21, of Wilkes-Barre, was waiting for Patterson when she arrived home about 11 p.m. Thursday.
Police said they believe Lewis may be traveling in a red vehicle.
Police said Lewis pistol-whipped a man who attempted to intervene.
The 16-year-old was said to be abducted by 21-year-old Walter Lewis. Police say Lewis had a 9mm handgun and is considered armed and risky.
Patterson is described as a light skinned black female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, about 120 pounds, last seen wearing trousers with skulls and a multi-color shirt.
Anyone with information on the subjects should call 911.
Patterson recently filed a protection-from-abuse order against Lewis.

Lewis is described as 5 foot 5 and 130 pounds.
