Amber Alert issued for Tenn. toddler after mom found dead

An Amber Alert was issued for a missing toddler from Knoxville.

A 2-year-old Tennessee girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert was found safe Thursday in Ohio. Police believe Brooklynne might be with her father Tyler Ward Enix, 36. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded to the driver’s 911 call and stopped the vehicle north of Columbus. Wednesday, her mother was found dead in that condominium.

Tyler Ward Enix, the 36-year-old suspect, is now in custody and he is scheduled for an interview with investigators.

“They described Mr Enix as bald, 6’2”, weighing around 205lbs.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted list.

Knoxville Police Department put out an Amber Alert regarding Brooklyn as a result of a homicide investigation regarding Enix’s estranged wife, Kimberly, in Knoxville.

Their daughter, Brooklynne Enix, has been missing since the incident. “Anything you got to do to get her to the right place, please, please, do”, said Brewer.

She was last seen in Knoxville on Tuesday. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

“I heard the dispatcher say “oh my God, that’s the guy” then I started getting a little excited and a little nervous”, Adams said. He is considered armed and risky.

Knoxville police charged Tyler Enix with first-degree murder of Kimberly Enix, according to the TBI.
