Yusra Abumayaleh, 30, was charged Friday with deprivation of custodial rights, KSTP reports.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 15-month-old toddler named Khadijah Shaikh after the little girl was abducted by her own mother from a daycare center. The two were eventually found in the north metro Thursday night and the child was taken to safety.

The child is safe, according to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.

The Anoka County sheriff’s office said officers believed the child’s life was in danger, adding that the mother had been acting irrationally and threatening harm to herself and others.

An AMBER alert went out Thursday afternoon for Sheikh. She’s described as having a black ponytail and wearing a long sleeved T-shirt with the words “Anoka Brawlers”. Last known location was the Coon Rapids area, from 3 p.m.to 4 p.m. on October 21.

Authorities said they’re searching for a 2004 Black Honda Civic with Minnesota license plate 386 HUJ.

Authorities say anyone who sees the mother and daughter should call 911.
