Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s deadpan PSA for Australia
Amber Heard pleaded guilty over alleged false immigration documents of her two dogs in Australia previous year.

Heard pleaded guilty at the hearing to falsifying an immigration document when the couple brought their two dogs to Australia a year ago.
Joyce said he hoped the video message would strengthen Australia’s bio-security laws that restrict the risks of pests and diseases entering the country.
Sure some countries have similar policies, but Australia really takes the biscuit (except don’t take any biscuits in unless you want to declare them, okay?) when it comes to cracking down on biosecurity laws. Depp agreed, adding, “Australians are just as unique-both warm and direct. When you disrespect Australian law, they will tell you firmly… declare everything when you enter Australia”. That being said, the couple’s definitely learned their lesson when it comes to what not to do when flying their pampered pooches by private jet.
Heard was sentenced to a one-month good behavior bond with a possible fine of $1,000 if she breaks the bond, according to the BBC.
She issued a public apology video together with her husband actor Johnny Depp.
Depp and Heard quickly returned to California but not before sparking the hashtag #WarOnTerrier.
In a video released Monday by the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, Heard and Depp somberly apologized for breaking the country’s strict animal quarantine laws, and offered high praise for Australia and its people and wildlife. Two illegal importation charges were dropped.
The couple visited Australia a year ago so Depp could film scenes from a Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
The two were besieged by media although police were on hand to keep things under control. “Heard has admitted that she was wrong and as such, that clearly shows that our position in pursuit of this was correct”, Joyce told journalists.

Heard avoided nearly 10 years of jail time over the alleged illegal importation case filed by prosecutors.
