A week after filing for divorce, Amber submitted a photo of herself sporting what appeared to be a bruise on her right eye as evidence along with her request for a domestic violence restraining order.

But the Texas native showed up at 11:30 a.m. and didn’t leave until 9 p.m….so what was she doing that entire time if she wasn’t actually getting deposed? The two sides reportedly continued settlement negotiations but couldn’t reach a deal.
The actress’s deposition was scheduled for Saturday, and she did show up (late, but who’s counting), however, the long-planned meeting did not happen, according to TMZ. However, she promised a Los Angeles judge that she would be there on Saturday.
Heard filed for divorce from Depp on May 23, accusing the 57-year-old actor of domestic abuse just a few days later.
Last month, Amber’s team said Johnny was to blame for the back-and-forth legal proceedings, saying he was trying to “thwart” their divorce proceedings, and that he is “smearing Amber at every turn”.

The deposition follows Heard’s claims that Depp physically and emotionally abused her throughout their 15-month marriage, most often while drunk and inebriated.
