Ambrose Heel Turn, Divas on Superstars, Reigns a Royal Rumble victor

Is that because John Cena is gone for a while? Bo Dallas then comes out dressed as a ghost and tells a few corny joke about “boo-lieving”.

The show opened with Scott Stanford recapping the events of both Hell in a Cell and Raw, exploring the ongoing story involving the Wyatt Family and their attacks on both The Undertaker and Kane. Ryback? Not so much. Elsewhere, there was a Halloween-themed midcard battle and a fight predicated on the fallout from Monday’s main event. This is the type of six-man tag I’d like to see every week, not the cookie-cutter tag matches WWE puts together that always end the same way. Harper landed the Discus Clothesline on Cesaro and the Wyatt Family got the win. It’s a small things, but those types of things add up. He said that plenty of people have tried to stop him, such as Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt, and he got knocked down a lot but he picked himself up and got back in the fight. Owens accused Reigns of stealing the number one contendership from him on Raw and said that his victory was a fluke, not the next chapter in a great underdog story. Can Roman Reigns continue his impressive week on his way to his WWE World Heavyweight Title match or will Kevin Owens derail Roman and make a statement of his own? For now? I have no problem with the two facing off against each other.

The match had the right ending, also. Owens said he was a split-second away from driving Reigns through the mat with a Pop-Up Powerbomb and becoming No. 1 contender.

Not sure why we had a random Trick or Treat Street Fight between Dolph Ziggler and The Miz. Ziggler got to his feet and put up a fight, but Breeze beat him down with a kendo stick. All I could guess is that it was originally supposed to be Ziggler-Rusev, but when Rusev was injured during the Main Event taping with a reportedly torn bicep, plans changed. Tyler Breeze attacks Dolph after the match. The appearance by Lesnar is also bein confirmed by online reports, linking it to be a part of the new deal between lesnar & WWE.

Analysis: Team BAD’s promo and attack on Natalya surprised me because I thought WWE was turning Banks babyface based on the positive crowd reaction she has been receiving. Will they be uncovered as the people who attacked Natalya backstage a couple weeks ago? I understand that Ambrose and Ryback are above Cesaro in the pecking order, but I don’t see why one of them couldn’t have done the job just so it wouldn’t have been so predictable. If anything, this makes me feel a bit better about Paige and her focusing on Charlotte and the Divas Championship. If Paige is innocent, she surely will throw that in Charlotte and Becky’s faces, who were not there to help out Natalya. Team BAD made an appearance, with Sasha Banks calling Nattie an “attention seeker”. Kevin Owens (c-IC) by countout after Owens leaves the ring after being hit with the Superman Punch.

Four Corner Tag Team Match: The Dudley Boyz, the Ascension, Lucha Dragons, and King Barrett and Sheamus had a match so New Day could clown them, and the commentators, on commentary. This was more entertaining than a regular Ziggler vs. Miz match would have been. Distracted, Natalya fell victim to the Ram-Paige and took the pinfall defeat. R-Truth by pinfall via the Tree of Woe stomp.
