American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson

Actors John Travolta, Cuba Gooding Jr, Sarah Paulson, and Courtney B. Vance are just part of the stellar roster of talent that make up the cast.

“I want this show to be a socially conscious, socially aware examination of different types of crime around the world”, Murphy told the news outlet.

“The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” will continue its 10-episode run next Tuesday, February 9 on FX. As everyone already knows, firsthand experience is always to be trusted and in this case, people should understand why Clark can’t really watch the hit series easily just as other people do.

For all its glitz, FX seems to be reaching for something more, if only to help us understand how the verdict that divided a nation had its roots in divisions that had been there all along. The average rating is 8.1/10. All wrong. Ugly wrong.

The real life players in the O.J. Simpson saga are watching The People v. O.J. Simpson with a critical eye, including Marcia Clark, Kim Goldman, and Kato Kaelin – who hates the “god awful” wig donned by his television counterpart.

I’ll certainly be interested to see how they’re able to pull it off. While she said she took her father’s side at the time, when asked what she thinks now, the mom-of-two admitted, “It’s weird”.

While there is already talk of “American Crime Story” being a top contender on the awards-show circuit, it seems like the success or failure of the show will hinge upon its ability to surprise us.
