MacKenzie Bourg performed “I Want You To Want Me” by Cheap Trick. “I feel like I’m in the passenger seat of a NASCAR driver when you sing”. Keith said it was so good to choose that song because he picked the right lyrics to sing to America. J-Lo also was impressed, declaring that La’Porsha has grown into “a fully realized artist”. “Everybody’s cheering for your bravery”, Lopez, who looked a little teary herself, told him, saying completely letting go, as he had done, was “what everyone wants to do”.
What did you think of “Wanted Dead or Alive” by La’Porsha Renae? Connick thought it was the best match of a Sia song and performer that night. MacKenzie Bourg sang “Titanium” by David Guetta featuring Sia. “I would … take an inspired attempt over soulless perfection any day of the week”, he said.
