American Music Awards 2015: Nicki Minaj and The Weeknd win big

No matter what rumours say, no one can beat the inner strength of One Direction as after receiving the Favourite Group- Pop/Rock award at American Music Awards 2015, they were also bagged the Artist of The Year. Taylor Swift direct the pack with probably the most nods of the evening, with Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, and much more with a couple of for themselves.
The 21-year-old entertainer performed three of his big hits and closed out the show in the pouring rain.
Jennifer Lopez, host of this year’s AMAs, kicked off the show with her dance moves featuring a few of the year’s most popular song tracks, including ones by Taylor Swift and Rihanna.

“Star Wars” veteran Harrison Ford introduced five-piece a cappella group Pentatonix, who put their vocals to John Williams’ iconic “Star Wars” score, along with a full orchestra on stage.
