Giving details about the deposition of Headley which began at 7 am here, Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam told reporters here that the terrorist said he wanted to fight against the army deployed in Kashmir.

At the previous hearing on December 10 a year ago, the special TADA court judge had pardoned Headley and made him an approver in the case, subject to certain conditions.

His deposition came in connection with the trial of an Indian national, Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari, who is allegedly one of the plotters in the Mumbai terror attacks.

He said that he had visited India eight times before the Mumbai 2008 terror attacks.
