Obama is also expected to address the recent killing of five U.S. troops in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The president decried what he call the “shaky information out there” concerning the Iran deal and said that he wanted to make sure “people know the facts”.

“We offer our gratitude to the police officers and first-responders who stopped the rampage and saved lives”, it reads.

But 64 percent of Americans say they are “not so” confident or “not at all” confident that the deal will stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons – Obama’s key objective.

In his speech, Obama also highlighted the opening of the Cuban embassy Tuesday and America’s goal of implementing “freedom” and “universal values” around the world.

“When I drive down a strip outside a military installation and count 20 fast-cash lenders in a few miles, that’s not a convenience, that’s a problem”, said Holly Petraeus, assistant director of service member affairs at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which will work with regulators to enforce the rules.

Following his remarks, the President will head to New York for his final taping of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. The White House said in the past, lenders have exploited loopholes in the regulations and targeted military members with exorbitant interest rates.

Stewart’s tenure at the satirical news show on Comedy Central will come to a close on August 6.

“It will distribute facts, engage online audiences, and be used as a forum by those involved in negotiating the agreement“, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said.

While campaigning for the presidency in 2008, Obama told a battle-weary nation he would end the long and bloody conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama expressed the readiness of his country to cooperate with China in joint efforts to implement the agreement. The US had been concerned China or Russian Federation might be reluctant to go along.

“China will continue to have constructive cooperation with all parties, including the United States, to ensure the implementation of the comprehensive agreement and the UN Security Council decision”, Mr Xi said.
