Amitabh Bachchan goes to theater to remember ‘Bajirao Mastani’ experience
In the opening week, Dilwale was recorded excellent occupancy and minted the total collection of 102.65 crores that comprises 65.09 cores of weekend and 37.56 crores of weekdays. The film’s superlative performance at the global market resulted in a total of Rs 110 crore at the end of 10 days, propelling the collections to Rs 235.26 crore worldwide.
The Black director is happy that word of mouth has helped Bajirao Mastani gain momentum at the box office, whose box office score after running at the theatres for a week is Rs 98 crores.
Bajirao Mastani is the love story of Peshwa Bajirao and the half-Muslim princess Mastani, which also features Bajirao’s first wife Kashibai as a significant character, while the Rohit Shetty film is an action comedy. This is a full family big screen experience. The star, who is as of now occupied with taking a shot at his next thriller “TE3N”, in Kolkata, crushed in some an opportunity to get a screening of the film for the second time. “The genre of both the film is different, different actors and two different directors”, the 52-year-old director said.
