It comes as the humorous duo continue to focus on their comedy careers, with Amy starring on Parks & Recreation, whereas Nick features on sketch collection the Kroll Show.

The insider added: “They really tried, but it just wasn’t realistic anymore”.
While they were dating, Poehler and Kroll had attended several celebrity events together, most recently the premiere of the comedy film Adult Beginners, which stars the actor, in Hollywood, California in April.
The rumoured split will no doubt come as a surprise to their friends and family as the blonde stunner had nothing but praise for Nick in her memoir, “Yes Please” late previous year .
According to Us Weekly, Amy Poehler and Nick Kroll have broken up, and it looks like their schedules were to blame.
No official announcement of the split has been made as of yet, but, just in case, we’re sending hugs your way Amz.
Despite her breakup with Kroll the female comedian attended the Emmys on Sunday, September 20 with a smile on her face bringing along her Paper Kite Productions partner, Brooke Posch, as her date.
“I can’t imagine people who can’t, for the sake of the kids, figure it out”, she said.

Another source told Us in 2013 that Poehler had wanted to be in a relationship with another comedian who “gets” her. “It was one of the most romantic gestures I have ever seen”. Poehler and Arnett were married for nine years and have two children, Archie, 6, and Abel, 5.
