Amy Schumer: I’m a good role model for feminists

Trainwreck follows Amy (Schumer), a women who was told by her father at a young age that monogamy isn’t possible. When she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of the new article she’s writing, a charming and successful sports doctor named Aaron Conners, Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who really seems to like her, might be on to something. The special, titled Amy Schumer Live at the Apollo is the first HBO stand-up special for the comedian.
Judging by this first teaser video for the show, released by HBO on Sunday (August 9), Schumer is going to be in full form for her big spotlight performance. “Or as I like to call it, tucking myself in”.
Wearing an elegant midnight blue gown, the American star, 34, pretended to collapse and lay “helpless” in front of Kim and Kanye at Lincoln Center in New York City. A personal favorite is when Schumer jokes about her special, “This is so great because I love money”.
