Amy Schumer Knocks ‘Glamour’ Plus-Size Controversy on ‘The Tonight Show’
Earlier this month, Amy Schumer took issue with Glamour magazine including her in a list of “women who inspire us” in their special plus-size issue without asking her, because she does not consider herself plus-size. She excited the audience with more than a few basic-instinct style poses but did not show off the goods.

“I love Glamour, honestly”, she amended.
Have you ever scrolled through Amy Schumer’s Instagram feed and wondered, What the eff is going on here?
Although Glamour finds Schumer’s acceptance of her body “inspiring”, Schumer wasn’t happy that Glamour labels average-sized woman to be plus-size. “For those of you who don’t know who I am, I’m a famous plus-size model”, she said by way of introduction. I think it’s because he’s really cute and people were like, ‘What?
“We don’t need these labels”, she says. “We don’t need em”.
The final photo nearly gave Fallon nightmares: Tilda Swinton and her boyfriend are seen laying among some creepy-looking dolls, which Schumer claims she grew up with.
Amy Schumer’s relationship with Ben Hanisch is going strong! “Not even 10 minutes later I get a Google alert from TIME magazine that Deb was like, ‘I’ve never heard of her before in my life!’ Too far, Deb!”
Ch-ch-check out Amy being her ADORABLE self as she plays a game and dishes on her life (below)! It should just say what size you are, right? Why? “I’m certainly sorry she didn’t like being named on the cover, and I’m sorry that she wishes her piece hadn’t been included, but I’m confident that the message of the issue, which is there’s great clothes out there for all of us, is one that will resonate with our readers”, Leive said.
“No cah-ment… naht a problem”, Schumer deadpans for Fallon in the clip, above. “At dinner she’s like, ‘Bottled water!’ It’s really cute”, Schumer explains.

Most likely it appears that Schumer wanted to make the point that it’s not OK to insult women for having larger than Size-2 bodies, and that labels like plus-size only serve to make women feel inadequate.
