Stars Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson and series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino were on hand this morning at the TV Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills to discuss the new season, with Sherman-Palladino explaining why fans will enjoy returning to Stars Hollow: “It’s a fun trip”, she quips.

The scene in the trailer is certainly a signature of all things Gilmore, mostly because it features a Lorelai – Rory conversation that certainly feels appropriate for them: Amy Schumer followed by John Oliver.

You can bet Gilmore Girls fans will be thankful when the revival premieres on Netflix on November 25. Though the jokes are modern, the writing and style of the dialogue is still the same from Gilmore Girls episodes past.

We are officially counting down the days to November 25th, Netflix will be releasing the four-part revival just in time for winter! Just Rory and Lorelai, sitting in the kitchen, eating Pop-tarts, talking pop culture and drinking coffee.

“Water sports”, she tells her mom. “It’s such a journey and because it’s such a build to the last four words and because I know that we live in an age where people are going to go right to the last four words and then put them on the Internet and possibly spoil it for people who are wanting to take that journey”.

“I’ve only done 2 water sports and they took pictures of it both times”, the Golden Globe nominee tweeted to her 4.2M followers.

Each of the four episodes in Netflix’s “Gilmore Girls” revival will reportedly represent a different season of the calendar year. Lorelai asks, to which Rory replies, “No”. “I promise I usually just lay there (sex too)”, the Trainwreck actress joked.

“I relished it, and I’m ruined for life because there’s no more ideal fit I feel like for me than that writing and that show”, she told People Magazine.
