Schumer beat out some serious competition to take the Best Actress in a Comedy category over Jennifer Lawrence in Joy, Tina Fey in Sisters, Melissa McCarthy in Spy and Lily Tomlin in Grandma.

@LCJReviews @jondaly I get it. Cause I’m a whore? “You want them to say, ‘What a courageous photo.’ You’re like, ‘Thanks, wow, thank you”, Schumer said.

“This is so boring, I am so sorry you guys”.

“The young critic has since deleted his post, and written an apology, which reads: “@amyschumer I truly apologize.

With her career going from strength to strength and a new love (furniture designer Ben Hanisch) in her life, Amy Schumer should be on top of the world – but not even comedy’s newest golden girl is immune to a crass joke. Within a half-hour, Schumer shot back a stinging reply that took exception to the implication of promiscuity, ending with, “Glad I took a photo with you”.

“I truly apologize”, he insisted. “I’m not a comedian and it wasn’t amusing”.

Commenting on the sad reality actresses have to deal with, Schumer mocked the media and public’s reaction to her naked Annie Liebowitz shoot: “This is where I get really “brave” as everyone said after my Annie Leibovitz photo”. Schumer took home the MVP Award on Sunday night.
