Amy Schumer has given fans a first hand look at her battle with food poisoning whilst on a trip to Paris.

Fortunately, Amy Schumer, 35, revealed that she only suffered a bout of food poisoning – and being the amusing woman she is, she made sure that the video message to her fans was full of humor.

It seems that the “Trainwreck” star resorted to making fun of her medical condition instead of being anxious and sad.

At least she was polite to her host country: “Thanks for everything Paris!”

Schumer proceeded to offer followers a bird’s-eye view into her consequent hospital stay, jokingly noting “No red flags with this girl” on an image of her in a gurney.

Presumably, Schumer’s video was filmed by Hanisch – ironically the couple met through a dating site as Schumer revealed in her memoir, The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo.

She ended up in the hospital.

She said: “My name is Amy”. I’m 35. I love grabbing life by its horns and experiencing everything and I love music and food. “So, I’m taking a chance!” “Except the food poisoning #nooooooooooo”. “Trying to eat chicken broth post puke fest”, Schumer, 35, wrote in the caption.

Lena recently posted about how Instagram users can now help stop the abuse, and Amy found time in between being sick and being amusing to show support by re-gramming Lena’s message.

Schumer and Hanisch have been dating since January. “It was a selfie and I made a gross face, looking as though I were dying, because I was hiking, so I was”, she wrote. “I feel so bad for him”.
