Amy Schumer Talks Writing Trainwreck and Working With Pro Athletes
Played very convincingly, by the way, by LeBron James, who offers advice about love but also about his hometown.

“”She said, “[The cops] were like, ‘You’re lucky you have this last name.’ And they pleaded it down, to like disturbing the peace or something“.
Trainwreck opens in theaters on July 17. I saw Trainwreck at SXSW. For the first time in her life, the concept of a monogamous relationship seems not only plausible, but preferable.
Cast: Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, Brie Larson.
Yeah! Yeah, it’s pretty cool. “Don’t worry. I didn’t do anything“, Schumer continued. Amy: “No, I’m saying…” I’m like, “Yeah, we’re all the same”. I didn’t get half the jokes. And the chemistry between them is just what the doctor – and the film – ordered. But misleading advertising isn’t always a bad thing. James is impressive, too, though Burr says the movie, at more than two hours, is a bit “padded”. That’s a big thing for me. But please don’t let anyone tell you anything about his role in the film so that it doesn’t ruin his unexpected impact for you. “I don’t know why he wants to leave”. Judd, this is for Aaron”, and he was like, “Yeah, yeah, yeah.
For now, neither Schumer or GQ has not responded to Star Wars or Disney/Lucasfilm, but I’m sure this topic is too hot for the magazine to ignore.
Well, it worked out well. She’s going to be a really good director.
JARED BOWEN: What is Amy Schumer doing right now that’s resonating with audiences so explosively? He has given us some fantastic bromances, but it’s nice to see Apatow work with some strong and very amusing women leads. There is one moment involving throwing up that is a tremendous feat in comedic timing, thanks to both the acting and directing. Cameos galore draw belly laughs in a comedy that has something to say underneath hundreds of well-aimed gags. And I was lost. But even if you know where you’re going to wind up, it takes interesting side trips along the way.
If Ant-Man is sold out, Trainwreck makes a sound and uproarious plan B.
And I go, “What?” But Schumer, who wrote the film, has given us someone to root for, who, at least at the exhilarating start, is as much blue-mouthed antihero as heroine.

It was a handsome part of that scene, I thought. “This has just been my experience, and the women that I’m close to – my best girlfriends from home, and my best friends now, who are mostly female comics – this is our real sensibility”. That’s what that girl does. And she took that idea to the bank her entire life seeing as she is shown to not be able to be in any sort of committed relationship.
