Speaking on Channel Seven’s Weekend Sunrise in Australia on Sunday, he claimed that Amy and her boyfriend Reg Traviss were planning to Wednesday. “I shouldn’t tell you this, she thought she was pregnant at some stage”.
It’s no secret that Mitch Winehouse disapproves of the latest Asif Kapadia-directed film, Amy, which details the Back to Black singer’s harsh rise to fame and ultimate downfall.
James Gay-Rees, the director of the Amy Winehouse documentary, told the Times Magazine, “He was no angel but she was no angel”.
“None of Amy’s staff are in the film”.
“Plenty of people told them we had a strong relationship, but they kept asking”.
In another controversial scene in the film, Mitch turns up to St Lucia where his daughter is trying to pull her life together, with a reality film crew.
He added: “You know, Amy was surrounded by people, surrounded by her friends, and her family all of her life and to give the impression that she was on her own is frankly criminal”.
A family source said: “Mitch and Reg are talking about doing something to correct all the wrongs and omissions in the new film”. He said they were actually making a documentary about drug addiction and he had asked his daughter beforehand whether it was okay.
