An exciting new theory about Arya from Game of Thrones
When Arya first arrives at the House of Black and White, the Faceless Man has her drink some of that mysterious water. Second, this is not a young lady that trusts easily, even an old woman. In the scene prior to her stabbing, Arya was being very indiscrete by dressing fancier than normal, walking like she owned the place, throwing pouches of silver at a boat captain and demanding passage home. Let’s not forget that even though there has been many deaths in this season, there has also been some wonderful comebacks. She found a man sailing to Westeros, and offered him money for a cabin on his ship.

A fan has come up with a theory that’s so believable it’s kind of mind-blowing.
Conversely, as another redditor, passingwisdom, theorizes, even if it was Arya who was stabbed, it could also be part of an elaborate ploy to get the Waif out in the open. “Arya is in the trailer more times than people have realized, because they don’t realize it’s her. Arya doesn’t cross any more names off her list”. The Waif will presume she’s injured, will lower her guard, and fall victim to Arya. Arya has split personality disorder and Arya’s storyline just become so much more unbelievable and weird. The problem with the theory: This is the least random of the theories, but there was something really weird about the whole scene with Arya, so if anything this theory treats it too normally.
“Arya and the Waif do battle, and after fighting valiantly, Arya is killed”. Perhaps he allowed the Waif to believe she’d killed Arya in order to save A Girl who he probably knew was incapable of truly becoming Faceless.
It’s Game of Thrones, so magic is always an option. “She’s been well-trained, but she’s up against [professional killers]”. Sansa decides to call for help after Jon said that they were going to fight with the army they’ve got – including the wildlings and 62 men from the Lady of Bear Island, Lyanna Mormont. It is unclear whether this incident will appear in episode 7, “The Broken Man” (yet to be aired), or episode 8, “No One”.
So what does she do in Sunday’s episode? The fan theory suggests that the waif is none other that Arya herself.
Some book spoilers ahead, so be warned!

If the Waif is a real girl, then she is likely just super jealous of all the attention Arya has gotten from Jaqen, and therefore is keeping tabs on her because she’s basically obsessed with Arya at this point. Is there a world in which she goes to a Temple of the Lord of Light and ends up brought back to life and taking on the role of Stoneheart in the HBO series? Arya. She is the pure spirit of revenge already. What do you think – what actually happened, and how does it leave Arya now?
