Ancelotti keen on Premier League return
Chelsea fans aren’t convinced this would be the best move for Mourinho, having seen him struggle this year with the Blues.

Ex-Chelsea defender Filipe Luis has said Jose Mourinho’s words can be damaging to certain players in his squad, with the Portuguese boss under continuing pressure from all sides to explain the champions’ recent fall from grace.
Seven losses in 12 league matches has left Mourinho in the firing line, and despite rumours linking Ancelotti to a return to Stamford Bridge, the experienced Italian says the current Blues coach is still the ideal man in charge.
Add his assist for David Silva to score the opening goal in the Euro 2012 final and it is easy to see why the 28-year-old Chelsea midfielder last month became the second-youngest player after Sergio Ramos to reach 100 caps for La Roja.
Defeat by Stoke last weekend was a third in a row – the first time Chelsea have done so since 1999 – and already they have lost 10 times in all competitions this season yet Roman Abramovich appears likely to stand by Mourinho, and Ancelotti agrees with the decision.
“Sometimes you can’t explain why things happen… what is going wrong”. Those of us who have been most criticised are Hazard, Diego Costa and myself, but you get used to it. The coach trusts us and we trust him. We all have to work together to come out of this bad spell.
“The results at Chelsea aren’t what we would want and don’t reflect the level of our play”.
“Someone invented a story -saying that I was leaking information from the changing room”.
“I don’t know where that came from”, the former Arsenal captain said.

Ancelotti feels the Premier League champions’ awful start to the campaign has been down to a lack of motivation, rather than poor management on the part of Mourinho.
