And The First Couple Voted Off This Year’s Strictly Come Dancing Are…
Fortunately, he didn’t seem to have any hard feelings about being the first for the chop, telling presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman: “I’ve loved every minute of it!” Everyone is so nice, I don’t want to go home’.

And now it could be over after she and partner, former Olympic athlete Iwan, crashing out, saying facing off against the judges was “more nerve-racking than the Olympics”.
Not only was he the first celebrity to be voted off “Strictly Come Dancing” this weekend, but Iwan Thomas also gave us what has to be THE most cringe-worthy last dance in the history of the show.
And then he lifted a clearly shocked Ola off the floor, flung her across his shoulders, and spun her around at a terrifying speed.
“I’ve loved training with you, it has been incredible”, he said. The judges chose to eject him and partner Ola Jordan after he faced Loose Women’s Jamelia in the dance-off.
Georgia May Foote admitted that waiting to find out if she was safe was “scarier that actually dancing” while EastEnders star Kellie Bright said it was ‘probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had’.
Sunday’s Results show also featured a performance from superstar Rod Stewart.
On Saturday night, Iwan landed bottom of the leaderboard after earning a total score of just 13 out of a possible 40. Tune in on Saturday 10th October 6.20pm with the results show on Sunday 11th October at 7.15pm on BBC One.
Judges, including notoriously bitchy Craig Revel-Horwood, sneered at his and professional partner Ola Jordan’s cha cha cha, calling it “stompy”.
After struggling with his moves in rehearsals, he was told he came onto the dancefloor with “too much aggression” for the fun-loving style of dance.
Bruno Tonioli went as far as to brand the routine – which scored just thirteen points – as “murder”.

“It was harsh of them to say I’d wasted 21 hours of my life – besides, after all the training this week, it was more like 30”.
