According to the report, the stadium officials had been ordered on short notice to renovate the stadium, but they could not manage to complete it perfectly so decided to make the running track with ‘right angled’ corner.
Officials explained that making track with sharp corners was much easier and faster.
In a talk, one spokesman from the stadium authority said “In order to get it ready for the leaders, we painted it like that. We think it is ugly too but if the leaders don’t ask us to change it, what are we supposed to do”.
