Ander Herrera: ‘Pep Guardiola be under pressure at Manchester City’
Manchester City is abuzz with the news of Pep Guardiola taking over for Manuel Pellegrini at season’s end.

Earlier, City’s current manager Manuel Pellegrini said he would be stepping down at the end of the season.
But Guardiola wants veteran Kidd, 66, to stay on, according to the Daily Telegraph. “We didn’t have anything on the playing side but top man, top manager, what an acquisition for City”.
Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern have been handed news of a positive U-turn this morning, with an experienced player reconsidering his decision to leave.
However, there is a growing sense that luring Messi to play for a Premier League club is far-fetched, considering the success the Argentine worldwide is experiencing in Barcelona, alongside Neymar and Luis Suarez.
But the idea of the club allowing their hottest young prospect to depart is highly unlikely. “It is not our style to play with nine defenders but it was our third game in a week and it was impossible to have a high pace with all our injuries. We are all thinking about this season rather than the next”.
Klopp himself has certainly experienced fierce competition since moving from Borussia Dortmund to Liverpool: after 23 games, Liverpool now is in 7th place with a record of 10 wins, 7 draws, and 6 losses. “We will see after that what happens next season for the players and me”, Pellegrini said after the Sunderland game.
The announcement comes after Gaurdiola revealed in December that he would be leaving the German club in May, after three years at the helm, AFP reports, with the intention to sign with an English team.
“I think it’s the most disappointed I’ve been since I’ve been at the club because we deserved so much more”, said Allardyce, whose side remain second-bottom, four points from safety.
“But had the performance brought the victory that we probably deserved today, I’d feel a lot happier and a lot more comfortable”. It’s not possible to say forever that it’s the team of Guardiola.
City’s owners have been after Guardiola for some time and now they’ve got their man. The appointment should certainly lift City to the next level, particularly in Europe.

“Manuel Pellegrini is our manager and we are going to try to win as many competitions as we can with him”.
